Cozy Fall Sangria Mocktail: The Perfect Non-Alcoholic Drink for Fall

Fall drinks don't always have to be hot, pumpkin-spiced, or loaded with alcohol.

Sometimes you want something that feels festive enough for a girls' night but easy enough to make just because it's Monday.

Made with non-alcoholic red wine, crisp apple cider, cranberry juice, fresh seasonal fruit, cinnamon, and a touch of maple syrup, this fall sangria has all the cozy flavors of the season, without the alcohol.

And yes, it looks just as good sitting on the table as it tastes.

Traditional sangria usually combines wine, fruit, and additional spirits or sweeteners. This version keeps the fun while making it completely alcohol free.

It's perfect for:

  • Fall girls' nights

  • Sunday dinners

  • Friendsgiving

  • Fall brunch

  • Dinner parties

  • Cozy nights at home

  • Anyone choosing to skip alcohol

The best part? You can prepare most of it ahead of time and let the fruit and spices infuse into the wine.

Ingredients

Serves approximately 4–6

  • 1 bottle (750 mL) non-alcoholic red wine

  • 1 cup apple cider

  • ½ cup cranberry juice

  • 1 crisp apple, thinly sliced

  • 1 orange, thinly sliced

  • ½ pear, thinly sliced

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 1–2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

  • ½–1 cup sparkling water

  • Ice, for serving

1. Add the fruit

Add your sliced apple, orange, and pear to a large pitcher.

2. Add the fall flavors

Pour in the apple cider, cranberry juice, and maple syrup. Add the cinnamon sticks and gently stir.

3. Pour in the non-alcoholic wine

Add the entire bottle of non-alcoholic red wine and stir everything together.

4. Let it chill

Refrigerate the sangria for about 2–4 hours.

Giving it time to chill allows the fruit and cinnamon to infuse into the drink and brings all those fall flavors together.

5. Add a little sparkle

Right before serving, pour in ½–1 cup of sparkling water and gently stir.

6. Serve

Pour over ice and add a few pieces of the soaked fruit to each glass.

Finish with an apple or orange slice for a simple garnish.

Make It Your Own

Prefer a sweeter sangria? Add a little more maple syrup.

Want it more tart? Increase the cranberry juice.

Prefer less carbonation? Skip the sparkling water completely.

Not sure which non-alcoholic wine to grab? For this Fall Sangria Mocktail, look for a non-alcoholic red blend, Merlot, or Cabernet Sauvignon with berry, plum, cherry, or subtle spice notes.

Since we're adding cranberry juice, maple syrup, and fresh fruit, try to avoid an overly sweet wine. A drier, fruit forward red helps keep the finished sangria balanced.

Easy Options to Look For

Giesen 0% Premium Red — My top pick for this recipe. Its dark fruit and subtle spice flavors pair beautifully with apple, orange, pear, cranberry, and cinnamon.

FRE Red Blend — A budget-friendly option that's great if you're making sangria for a group or trying non-alcoholic wine for the first time.

FRE Merlot — Another affordable choice with plum and cherry flavors that complement the fruit in the sangria.

Luminara Red Blend — Try this one if you'd like your sangria to have a slightly more elevated, wine-forward flavor.

Ariel Cabernet Sauvignon — A good option if you prefer a fuller red wine flavor and a less juice-forward sangria.

The Cozy Reset

One of my favorite things about fall is how naturally the season encourages us to slow down.

Invite your friends over. Put together a snack board. Turn on a good playlist. Pour the sangria.

Not every gathering needs a special occasion.

Sometimes the occasion is simply making time for the people you love.

Cheers to another Mocktail Monday!
